Welcome to Celtic Bliss Gallery, nestled in the heart of historic Falmouth Heights, celebrating the splendour of Ireland and the charm of Cape Cod. If you are looking to escape the chaos of everyday life, then you have found your haven.

We are located behind Falmouth Heights Ballpark, just a skipping stone's throw from Falmouth Heights Beach and a short walk from the Island Queen Ferry. Follow Falmouth Heights Road until you come to the Falmouth Heights Motor Lodge and the Falmouth Heights welcome sign. Make a left at the island onto Grand Avenue past the Falmouth Heights Motor Lodge Beach and Ferry Parking. We are the the third house on the left, #30. Look for the Irish tri-color flag.

About The Artist

I started writing poetry and short stories in sixth grade. I found it to be a source of comfort during the trying times of adolescence. I create poems the way some people create scrapbooks, as a way of summing up a time or place in my life that I don't want to forget. My love of photography started out as a hobby, another way of documenting life experiences: holidays, family gatherings, and friendships.

Living outside Boston after college made me appreciate where I came from even more. The older I got, the less interested I became in capturing people, and the more enamored I became with scenes lacking people, for I see poetry in an open doorway or a frozen harbor or the Casino boardwalk. My hobby then turned into an obsession, a desire I couldn't suppress.

I was raised with a strong sense of my Irish roots, always proud of my heritage, but my first trip to Ireland in 2000 with my father was life-changing, as I felt as if I had come home. Therefore, my photography is a tribute to my Cape Cod childhood and my Celtic ancestry. I have studied Creative Writing at my alma mater, Bridgewater State College, in addition to Northeastern University, Boston College, and the Boston Center for Adult Education. As far as my photography, I am self-taught. I just try to capture the things that move me, the unguarded moments of life.

Casino By The Sea

It's hard to believe The Casino is now but a memory. If you grew up in the Heights as I did, or spent any extended amount of time here, then you know what a huge void it leaves. If you're looking for a real Falmouth memento, look no further. My original photography and poetry celebrates the Falmouth Heights of yesteryear, back in the days of Lawrence's and the Brothers Four. Be sure to check out my original "Last Call at the Casino" tee shirt featuring a black and white jetty shot of the back deck, commemorating its final season in 1999. You can't find them anywhere else, so get yours now before they're all gone!

Irish Landscapes

Step into the Celtic Room to view original photography spanning The Cliffs of Moher to the Dingle Peninsula. The Wicklow Mountains to the Sally Gap. Glendalough to Kylemore Abbey. Main Street Kenmare to Henry Street Dublin. The only thing you’ll hear besides the bubbling fountain is the peaceful sound of Enya. The Celtic Room also features original pen and ink Celtic knotwork by artist and musician, Patricia Black of the local musical group, Celtic Tide.

Cape Cod Landcapes

Venture into the Cape Cod Room, where you'll find original color and black and white photography ranging from Surf Drive to Nobska Lighthouse. Falmouth Yacht Club to Chappy Beach. Bristol to Trunk River. Salt Pond to Eel Pond. Even Lawrence's Restaurant.
